and still going. The only breakdown so far has been clutch cable breaking. I do have two slow oil leaks. One is on the front of the engine at the front head bolt. The other is at the front drive pulley. Nothing serious. I just wipe them off from time to time. I'm on my third front tire and fourth back tire, second set of rear brake shoes, third set of front brake pads, second drive belt (the first one still worked but it had hairline cracks on the outside at 50K), approximatley 28 oil filters. the valves have been adjusted appoximatelly five times. the bike has a modified carb (white spacer removal and up one main jet size), modified exhaust pipe (Cobra pipe to fit one of the Intruder 1400 pipes), a jet stream saddle seat cushion (my original seat began to tear a couple of months back), a trottle lock, a National Cycle Wind screen, and large capacity saddle bags. The starter, clutch and battery are all original. At 70,249 miles you might ask, is she reliable? yeah.
